Refrigerator end panel with a 1-1/2" stile on the front. The panel will be finished on both sides. The front edge of the panel is not finished so the stile must be used. Filler can be trimmed to 3/4" if necessary.

Then, 1/4" shims would be used on the opposite side so it's leveled.
